Apple Pie

Preparation time: approx. 45 minutes

Ingredients for the dough

250 g flour
120 g butter
1 egg
12 teaspoons Nevella Stevia (granular sweetener)
2 tablespoons milk
1 grated zest of an untreated lemon
1 packet of baking powder

Preparation
Mix flour and butter by hand in a bowl. Add Nevella Stevia, egg, grated zest of the lemon and milk and knead a smooth dough. Roll out the dough between two layers of transparent film, fill it into a buttered springform pan (Ø 28 cm) and let it rest in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Ingredients for the filling
3-4 apples
100 ml white wine
2 teaspoons Nevella Stevia (granular sweetener)
80 g raisins
juice of half a lemon
40 g roasted, sliced almonds
30 g finely chopped pistachios
60 g diet apricot jam
some water

Preparation
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into slices. Heat the white wine with lemon juice and Nevella Stevia, add the raisins and apple slices and let this mixture steam for a while. Spread the steamed apple slices with the raisins onto the dough and bake the pie on the middle shelf of the oven for about 35 minutes at 190°C.
Meanwhile roast the sliced almonds in a pan and finely chop the pistachios.
Let the pie cool down and decorate it with the sliced almonds and chopped pistachios. Boil up the apricot jam with a small amount of water and spread it on the apple pie.
