Sweet Cornbread

  • 1 c Flour
  • 2 t Baking Powder
  • 1/3 c Nevella ® Granular No Calorie Sweetener
  • 3/4 c Milk
  • 1 c Cornmeal
  • 1 t Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 T Shortening

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°/F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, Nevella ® Granular No Calorie Sweetener, salt and shortening.
  3. Add eggs, milk and cornmeal, and stir until well blended.
  4. Lightly grease an 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish, and pour cornbread mixture into dish.
  5. Bake at 400°/F for 25 - 30 minutes.
