Old Fashion Apple Pie

2 2/3 Flour

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 cup Butter -- Chilled And Diced Lite Unsalted

1/2 cup Water -- Ice Cold

6 ea Apples -- Granny Smith Peeled, Cored And Sliced

1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
-
3/4 cup Nevella® Granular No Calorie Sweetener
-
1/4 cup Flour
-
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
-
1/4 teaspoon Salt
-
1 tablespoon Butter -- Lite Unsalted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt

Cut in butter mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture forms a ball.

Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Roll dough out to fit a 9-inch pie plate.

Place dough in a pie plate and press the dough evenly into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.

Pinch and crimp the edges together to make a pattern.

Place apple mixture into the pastry lined pie plate.

Cut the butter into small cubes and add to apple mixture.

place top crust on and seal cutting slits to allow steam to release.

Whisk egg and brush over the top of crust.

Bake for 25 minutes with foil over pie removing and baking an additional 25 minutes or until apples are tender.
