Hot Fudge Pudding Cake (Reduced Calorie)

Preparation Time:

  • 1 1/4 cups Nevella ® no Calorie Sweetener
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa -- Unsweetened Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk -- Can Use Regular Skim Or Fat Free
  • 1/3 cup Butter -- Lite Butter W/O Salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar -- Light Brown
  • 1 1/4 cups Water -- Use Hot Tap Water
  • Whipped Cream -- (optional)

Instructions:
  1. Heat oven to 350°
  2. Combine Nevella ® No Calorie Sweetener, flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  3. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla beat until smooth
  4. Pour batter into ungreased 9 inch square baking pan.
  5. Stir together remaining 1/2 cup Nevella® No Calorie Sweetener, brown sugar, and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle mixture evenly over batter.
  6. Pour hot water over top; do not stir
  7. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
  8. Remove from over and serve hot in sessert dishes or spoon over ice garnish with whipped topping if desired.
