Granola

Preparation Time:

  • 1/3 cup Water -- Boiling
  • 1 cup Nevella® Granular No Calorie Sweetener
  • 1 cup Milk -- Nonfat Dry
  • 2 1/2 cups Oats -- Rolled
  • 1 1/2 cups Wheat Germ
  • 1/4 cup Almonds -- Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Coconut -- Unsweetened Shredded
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1/2 cup Prunes -- Pitted Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Apricots -- Dried Chopped

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl dissolve water and Nevella® no calorie sweetener.
  3. Add dry milk and mix well with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. In a large bowl combine oats, wheat germ, almonds, coconut and salt.
  6. Add in the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  7. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 40 - 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Stir in raisins, prunes and apricots and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Cooled completely and store in an airtight container.
  10. Use within 2 weeks.
